German heptathlete from Leverkusen, competing for TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen. After winning silver at the European U23 Championships in 2019, Sophie went on to establish herself among Germany's leading combined-event athletes, highlighted by a 7th-place finish at the World Championships 2023 in Budapest and qualification for the Olympic Games Paris 2024. Shortly before competing in Paris, a torn Achilles tendon during the warm-up forced her out of the Games. After this setback, Sophie is now set to return to the heptathlon in Götzis and is looking forward to her comeback on the big stage.
