The useful life of a specific half mask depends on the concentration and particle sizes of filtered contaminants. If the atmosphere in which the half mask is used is highly contaminated, resistance can increase earlier.
When you experience excessive breathing problems, discontinue using the mask and replace the filter with a new item. To replace the filter:
• Leave the contaminated area,
• Take off the half mask,
• Remove the filter,
• Clean the mask shell,
• Install a new filter.
Cleaning and maintenance
Washing (water temperature up to 30 degrees C), drying and disinfection of the mask shell, e.g. by exposure to UV light for at least 15 minutes inside and outside. You can use medicine grade disinfectants for this purpose.
Do not use cleaning agents with hydrocarbon or solvent contents (such as nitro thinners).
Note: Filters are disposable, unfit for cleaning, non-reusable.
